Budget Limitations and Changes

A general 10 percent deviation from approved budget category amounts is allowed to give principal investigators flexibility to address research needs. Principal investigators requesting budget category deviation in excess of 10 percent must submit a request in writing to the Sea Grant Institute and receive written approval in advance of such expenditure.
