The Clean Bay Backers hosted the STATE OF THE BAY, a virtual press briefing on restoring the health of the Fox River and bay of Green Bay. Experts showcased the successes and challenges of regional water quality and public health topics including PCBs, agricultural runoff, the dead zone, harmful algal blooms, PFAS and plastic pollution.

The Clean Bay Backers are a diverse collaboration of public, private and non-profit members who act as the Citizen Advisory Committee to the WI Department of Natural Resources for the Lower Green Bay and Fox River Area of Concern. They represent community interests in creating a better future by restoring the health of the Lower Fox River and bay of Green Bay.
