Maritime Archaeologists Learn Their Trade: Mapping Davidson’s Adriatic

Students in the Maritime Archaeology program of East Carolina University came to Sturgeon Bay, Wis., for a field school in the summer of 2013. Caitlin Zant was one of them. She describes the team’s work and the vessel they mapped. The field school was funded by Wisconsin Sea Grant and hosted by Maritime Archaeologist Tamara Thomsen of the Wisconsin Historical Society.
