Through a process of collecting and scanning high quality images of manoomin, risograph images were created through collaboration with Chroma Press, LLC (now defunct) and Wisconsin Sea Grant for use in development of educational materials. Manoomin was collected legally after acquiring a permit from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and with consultation from Indigenous partners to ensure that manoomin was respectfully and responsibly handled and also returned to the waters where they were collected. The images below were used to create the manoomin life cycle.
